tinkering...

So at the moment not much is happening around here. I am busy packing up the house for our big move in a couple of weeks, and dreaming of what I would do to the house if I had an endless amount of money! I am also putting the finishing touches on my NEW etsy/madeit shop. This little project I have been tinkering on for awhile and hopefully will be up and running in a couple of weeks, if not by the end of next week, and to say I am super excited, would be an understatement! So stay tuned, as I will be having a celebratory giveaway when it is all up and running! Other than that I thought I would show you a couple of my favourite things at the moment..

I spotted this on the apartment therapy website and fell head over heels in love! Yum!!

retail therapy

Today was my first day in about 2 weeks that I have had no sick children at home...so I spent the day running errands and a little retail therapy as well...picked up some new shoes, some swimmers for the boy and other bits and pieces. All in all a pretty productive day....

Grateful Thursday

1. that my request to spread dad's ashes on the cricket ground is being considered.

2. that my hubby remembered to bring home the stuff I asked for ( a big feat trust me! )

3. that I scored some great stuff at the oppy

4. that my my lovely girlfriend kylie could do my hair at late notice last night.

5. that I stopped and wrote down the number plate of someone who swiped someone elses car and drove off, that I stopped and took the time to write the victim a note to let them know.

Well my challenge is complete (see previous post). It did take me longer than expected because I divert when another blog catches my eye...which I love, but I did do it.
Thursday, busy day here, firstly went and looked at a house that was straight out of the seventies. We are looking to buy at the moment so we are looking at everything and everything. We have lived here on the coast for over 3 years and now want to put down roots. Then work, a bit of op shopping (photos to come) picked up freckles and two other friends, they played all afternoon, then picked up the boy and picked up dh from the bike shop as his bike is getting serviced. Currently sitting in my "Supergirl" pj's after putting a colour in my hair and having a lovely warm shower. I am getting my haircut on Saturday so it needed to be coloured in order to cover up that lovely streak of white I have going on at the moment. We have a very busy weekend planned so I am getting an early night tonite, just going to have a chat with dh as he is not at work tonight, watch "The Amazing Race" and then snuggle in bed with my book.

Hey there

So, I am back chook, here I am...so sorry I am so tired. Been working for the past couple of days and the lovely little children are still a bit out of sorts from the weekend. I also had some more bad news, starting to think I am jinxed, a lovely friend of mine, her hubby is in critical condition in hospital in America, we dont know what happend it is all a mystery at the moment, he was found on the side of the road...will know more hopefully in the next couple of days.
Other than that, work was good, busy but good. My house looks like a tip, but ho hum, who cares as long as my babies are happy I dont care! Been walking too which is good for me. My Mums birthday yesterday, she is coming up tomorrow night to visit and we are going shopping all day Saturday..which will be good. I miss her and havent seen her for awhile. We are currently painting a table and chairs for the patio at work, and Freckles has gym and a disco tomorrow night so she is super excited. DH is going to the boxing with mates, so I have a date with some dvds and the couch...wooo hooo!
Other than that all is well with me, heading out for breakky and a walk with the girls in the morning and then to get mums birthday present.

3. Maccas playground, great for afterschool catchup coffee with the girls

4. Hot showers...nothing more to say
