Australia : Day 6 & 7

Hello all, sorry a bit behind on the post. Had s*%t day yesterday. I went out for breakfast yesterday with the peeps, like we always do every week. So anyway the boy wasnt very well so I didnt take him to daycare, but thought we could just get out for an hour or so and then come home and snuggle up..he loves seeing the girls, and we were having breakfast by the river which he loves..so anyway we go. But I was thinking I should stay home, but anyway, go to breakfast and as I pull into park BANG I hit my girlfriends car in the carpark. Hence to say I cried, went in told my girlfriend and then promptly went home, and hid under the covers with the boy all day.

Anyway on to day 6 & 7...

Day 6 - Well Spotted

A little about well spotted from their website - t's hard to believe that when well spotted started it was a serious slightly sarcastic t-shirt brand for adults the inspiration for which came from a disenchanted 30-something year old outlook on life. Then my son Finbar was born. The inspiration came from an entirely different place after that. First he was very hungry, very sleepy. Then he was small but we knew he knew stuff. At three, he was far out (brussel sprout) and at age five, well you can see what he is into now. Each stage of his development has inspired its own t-shirt and despite the obvious copyright risks with this one, I could not resist the force is strong. May the force be with us..

I just love love love these kids shirts they are just awesome..so many fabulous colours and the slogans are just gorgeous. Go check them out at WELL SPOTTED!

and above is a photo of my boy (on the right) with his best bud..who is wearing the Unreal Banana Peel shirt!

A blurb from their website.

Australia : Day 5

Welcome to Australia Day 5 : Australia the Movie

Well there is no way I could go past this little Jem by one of my all time favourite directors Baz Luhrmann. I have to say I have not seen this yet, but I have dropped about a thousand hints to hubby that this could be good for a "date night" so we will see what happens...if not I will go with the girls..and a box of tissues. The reviews have been amazing, the actors well what can I say, the beautiful Nic and the "Sexiest Man" hugh Jackman..what more could you want..and little Brandon (see 2nd last pic below)...there is Oscar talk around him. So why should you go see this masterpiece..1. because Baz Luhrmann directed it. 2. Because of the main actors and everyone else in the film. 3. Because this is my beautiful and everchanging home country and you will be amazed, and want to jump on a plane straight away and come here! So go see it and tell me what you think! Oh and check out the other brilliant movies by Mr Lurhmann, Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet, & another fantastic aussie movie you must see Strictly Ballroom!

So why dont you come walkabout?

Australia : Day 4

So we are up to day 4...let me know what you think of our aussie talent!
Today we have the awesome store Remo General Store.
REMO was launched in Sydney Australia in 1988 as a General Store with a mission to seek out and celebrate Quality & Passion in people and merchandise gathered together from all over the world. From the shelves of that original General Store and the minds of its many CustOMERs sprang a thoughtful, high quality and unique brand of general merchandise.

Boiled down, Remo is an institution. It sells the most amazing t-shirts, and beautiful special things..and I mean special things.
You can even create your own shirt with whatever you want on it! So go crazy!
So go check out Remo, have a poke around, once again you wont be disappointed.
Oh and by the way...see that little link, yep up there in the right hand corner of my blog, click on this for your free tshirt! And they deliver worldwide!

I heart Remo!

Australia : Day 3 : Printspace

Ok, so I have had one of "those days". You know the ones, where you get "nothing done" and just feel like a flop. All I did today was make lists of my lists, caught up with my lovely friend jodes...who gave me some beautiful peaches from her tree, some chillies that she grew, and some eggs from her girls (i mean chooks)....just gorgeous..I spent the afternoon at freckles school creating a diorama..which was loud, messy, noisy and fun. Then we came home the kids had water fight, and then in my "one of those days" state of mind, I happily announced that we were having Breakfast for Dinner tonight and it was bacon and eggs! This was met with a huge cheer.
So on to day 3 of Australia Week..so now for Printspace.
So I discovered this little gem. And oh the wonder, they create beautiful prints and canvas art.
They are available to buy here at their etsy shop, or you can visit the Printspace website here or even the blog here. So go on have a look, they deliver internationally, Just gorgeous!
